World Premiere Plaza unveils a little more starting April 2025

While the teams at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and Disneyland® Paris are working tirelessly on the expansion of Walt Disney Studios® Park, which will transform into Disney Adventure World in 2026, the rest of the Park is also undergoing an equally exciting and unprecedented transformation. From spring 2025, guests will be able to get a first glimpse of World Premiere Plaza, which already reflects this fresh creative vision.

In April 2025, the new look of World Premiere Plaza will be further revealed to guests. We’ll have to wait a little longer before World Premiere opens its doors, however the large area, which until now has been home to Production Courtyard and Toon Studio, is gradually taking shape, with every detail thoughtfully designed to tell a new story and enhance the guest experience. As the second park at Disneyland Paris enters a new era marked by brand-new experiences, an expansion on an unprecedented scale and a fresh creative vision, World Premiere Plaza celebrates Disney stories with its various onstage productions, that guests can experience before diving into the immersive worlds of Marvel Avengers CampusWorlds of Pixar and soon World of Frozen to enjoy spectacular adventures!

The many theaters in the area are at the centre of the story of World Premiere Plaza which has been reimagined as a vibrant theatre district, reminiscent of Broadway or the West End. To highlight this variety of entertainment available, giant billboard posters inspired by Broadway iconography are now proudly displayed on the façade of World Premiere to advertise guests the ambitious selection of indoor shows, such as “Mickey and the Magician”, “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure” and “Frozen: A Musical Invitation”.

This change of atmosphere is reflected by the addition of trees and green spaces providing a pleasant environment for leisurely strolls between shows, along with new Art deco streetlamps and new paving throughout the area; the background music also contributes to setting the scene within the themes established at the upcoming World Premiere, by playing familiar tunes from the soundtracks of Disney franchises, with orchestral renditions of popular themes like “Colors of the Wind” (Pocahontas), “Captain America’s March” (Captain America: First Avenger) or “The Raiders March” (Raiders of the Lost Ark).

Several iconic decorative elements from Production Courtyard and Toon Studio have also been reintroduced to reflect the venue’s new legacy. For instance, the statue of Sorcerer Mickey is displayed with a bronze finish, at the centre of a flower bed and surrounded by smaller sculptures of the Park’s iconic animated characters including Donald, Dumbo, Mulan and Tarzan that were previously displayed around Animation Celebration

Meanwhile, the iconic ‘Partners’ statue, featuring Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse, will be reinstalled near World Premiere, surrounded by a canopy designed to feel like a natural extension to the building, mirroring its colour palette and architectural details; this installation will be completed by an original, hand-painted curved mural celebrating the different experiences at Disney Adventure World – Worlds of PixarAvengers Campus, and in the future, World of Frozen and the area dedicated to The Lion King. At the heart of this mural, Walt Disney holding Mickey’s hand represents a tribute to where it all started: when Walt created Mickey, it marked the beginning of a century of stories and experiences, as his dream became the foundation for generations of storytellers, artists and dreamers to build upon, bringing new characters and adventures to life. His legacy lives on with guests who can go beyond and step into these beloved stories – which explains why the ‘Partners’ statue faces Adventure Way, as if looking forward to the future and inviting guests to explore the various immersive worlds ahead. This canopy will be unveiled at the same time as the opening of World Premiere.

As part of the transformation, a new mural will be introduced in the covered waiting area of Animagique Theater, to align with the comeback of the show “Mickey and the Magician” on 21 April 2025: this vibrant mural will celebrate Disney Characters from both current and past shows, brought to life in Art deco-inspired style that will blend into the placemaking of World Premiere Plaza while also marking the integration of new Official Partner, Visa.

The transformation of World Premiere Plaza doesn’t stop there and will continue in the months leading up to the opening of World of Frozen in 2026. In the coming months, existing food kiosks will be gradually upgraded with a new Art deco design, new shopping experiences will be introduced, and other small details are in the works to enhance the guest experience at World Premiere Plaza.
