This summer, we inaugurated the terrace at Casey’s Corner, offering guests to Disneyland® Paris a new elegant, sheltered area to enjoy their meal at this restaurant. It’s the first time a structure of this scale has been added to the original Main Street, U.S.A.® experience — a major milestone for the Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and Design & Delivery teams. True to the spirit of Casey’s Corner, the terrace features numerous nods to the world of baseball.
The Victorian charm that defines Main Street, U.S.A.® is clearly present in the covered terrace’s architecture, with its multi-roof design, decorative spindle friezes, and frosted glass globe lamps with brass finishes. But what makes it truly unique are the subtle baseball-inspired details that echo the theme of Casey’s Corner! Bats are cleverly integrated into the railings of the gates, the roof gables, and even the backs of chairs. Baseball motifs can also be found in the bas-reliefs, on the chairs, and even on the sorting bin!
